Document Collections Introduction
Document Collections are a core feature of Blue Edge AI that organise your documents to focus the query results. Think of them as the AI’s core knowledge base. The information you place into your collections will be used by the AI to form it’s results.
Think of them as smart folders containing your uploaded files. You can organise them into ‘Domains’ and ‘Folders’ them to match your workflow too. By grouping similar documents together (like past submissions, client documents, or case studies), you help the AI tools focus on the most relevant information when generating responses.
Collection Manager
Your central hub for collating and organising all bid-relevant documents or knowledge inside the Blue Edge AI platform. Here you can create collections, upload files, and manage access settings with your team.
While there’s no strict limit on documents per collection, we recommend keeping collections focused and relevant. Large collections with diverse content may lead to less specific AI responses since the tools will process more varied information.
Managing Documents
Within each collection, you can:
- View processing status and upload dates
- Download individual files
- Delete files as needed
- Monitor document processing status
